I have found some instructions online for removing and cleaning the IACV on other Subaru models, but I cannot come up with anything specific for the '99 Outback. I've gotten the P1507 error code when the Check Engine Light (CEL) came on and the car has
Start by cleaning the throttle body with a rag or old toothbrush and some carb cleaner. The iac motor is in the throttle body and comes off with 2 screws. Its not the throttle position sensor thats inline with the throttle plate, the other connector.
