I think some fair criticisms should be taken into consideraton. Though unique, the maintainance of a rotary engine is inconvient and quirky compared to an internal combustion engine, gas mileage suffers, due to engine design and it requires frequent

More crap to go wrong!!!
The saying, The older the better.
