thermostat replacement wiring?

I am replacing an old thermostat in our house and needed some wiring assitance. We purchased a new Honeywell RTH6300B thermostat and the wiring appears easy, now the question.

On the old thermostat we have the following wires:

Yes.It doesn't matter if you put it to the R terminal with a jumper to RC,or if you put it to the RC terminal with the jumper to R.It is the same thing.Some systems have two separate power sources for the AC. and the heating.This is the reason for the
