1985 Honda Goldwing 1200cc...?

new battery dosnt seem to be the problem... volts are down.... reading only 11.3-11.6 when riding... I unplugged the neg- lead to the battery and bike stoppes dead..... Alternator or Stator?

Your stator is probably shot, Godwing 1200's and 1500's are notorious for having them go out randomly. Most Goldwing owners have the stators replaced at the timing belt change interval, even if they dont NEED it, but just to make sure there is a new one
