Is there a big difference between a honda crf 250x and crf 250r?

the title is basically the question.. but i see videos of people riding the 250x and it looks pretty fast. I know the 250r is all racing and the 250x is trails.. but yes is there a big difference?

You basically answered your question.. The 250R would win cause its a race bike with a lot of top end. But the 250X has a lot of low end power to climb hills etc.
