is it enough for me to use a water filter (ceramic, sand and carbon) for drinking water in KL malaysia?

I am currently based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and am moving into a new condominium. I am used to getting my drinking water delivered by Waterku. However they recommended that I buy from them a WaterPot/filter, which includes a Ceramic filter, filter

I am not sure what all the components do as the Waterku website is currently under construction .However if they can show you that by having an in-line system installed will be cheaper and just as safe as buying bottled water. It is not in their interest
