Is it ok to put two different type of disc brake rotors in the front and rear on a nissan 240sx?

Ok so i need to change my disc rotor for the front and rear of my 240sx. i was wondering if i could put cheap rotors for the rear and buy a different band disc rotors for the front.. like a Performance band?
