Honda plans to launch the production version of the totally new markets in Japan, Europe and North America in the spring of 2009 and a total annual turnover of 200,000 units. The Insight uses a version of cost-effective Integrated Motor Assist today (IMA) powertrain, so the car will be sold under current hybrids.
